like I said in the other thread...it goes both ways for both genders. It's a matter of integrity and maturity etc. Being female doesn't automatically qualify you as a woman/lady

Shadow you copycatted my thread.A woman is someone who carries herself with class and sophistication and dignity and knows how to treat the people around her,who knows that her family ALWAYS comes first..I'll add more when I think of it.

It's funny how men/women say they know or think they know but there actions show different. So it would be more interestiong to see how well people do know themselves other then just thinking or as i call it. the internet curage |

Every person has their own idea of what the other gender "should" be. It is a personal choice to me.
I know what a man should be in "my own" eyes. But that does not mean someone else may think the same way. |

Thought since the other topic was up. Id like to hear from the ladies what your opinion is? how well do you know yourself? I think I know myself rather well. I have various definitions for myself. Mother, daughter, friend, woman... those are my gender roles. What they mean to me is definied by my life experiences, by societal norms, by my interactions with others, and by what I strive to be. I have to live with yself and be happy with that at the end of the day. |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
Good thread. I didnt know my gender until someone pointed it out, at about age five... as in girls cant do that... Made no sense to me, so I just did it anywway. I can do anything I choose to do.... and gender has nothing to do with it. Femininity, is not a huge one with me, it looks great on others, but really it is just another's perception of what female, woman, lady, etc is... I have better things to do, than wander around trying to be all things to all people. |
