Ala, I am a single mother of two daughters, and I ,too, try to be as
informed as possible about the world around us. I understand what you
are saying. I try to be cautious and alert, while at the same time
allowing my girls their ability to grow and learn. It is a frightening
world, and it is a very big thing to take a chance on loving another
man, (or woman), because deception comes easily for some. I think you
are right on in considering the welfare of your children overall, and I
am sure the other single parents here feel similar.
