Are you a neat freak or a pack-rat? Its good to know his about another peson before getting to serious. The two dont mix good togeather.

Im a neat freak.....part from being in the military and part from DNA.I always say you can judge a persons life from how clean their car/house is.

edited for sp error:wink: I do that a lot

I alternate!! I'm so depressed looking at my living room as my kid invaded it with her JUNK!!! But, I haven't mustered up the energy to sort & move it. grumble I don't have the compulsion to constantly clean, but once I start, I keep going for hours.... grumble

I'm a semi-neat freak.

If anything's trash, I throw it out as soon as I'm done with it. Empty soda can, in the trash. Wrappers, ditto, etc.

Now if I'm using a book, a paper and etc., it'll sit around on a table or something. Once I get sick enough of looking at it, though, out it goes, usually.

I have a garage full of junk and am waiting for the bi-annual large trash day to clean it out. I have a TV set I want to get rid or and maybe a chair, but I don't know about that.

They say that if you can't decide what to get rid of, it piles up in your house like crazy.

After my granddaughter and great grand moved out, I threw 50 bags of trash out of the house. They were pack rats.

But, now that they've got their own place, at least they're trying to throw the trash out on a regular basis about every week or so.

If they don't they'll end up overwhelmed and have a house full of cockroaches again.

I vote for the neat freak side of things.

Geo.

I love having a clean house but I have better things to do than clean it most of the time. So I rarely live up to my own standards. If I could afford it I would get a cleaning service.

I need to clean the outside of this dump. I'm gonna do a bleach job on the front where the vinyl siding is and maybe rake some stuff, one bag at a time.

Right now, the front is a big old lake, though. Bard Street runs past my house, so I'm calling the puddle "Lake Bard."

well I started working when I was 10 so there

I was a newspaper boy making 3 cents a newspaper. I had over hundred newspapers to deliver every day. the sunday paper was a killer sometimes over 200 pages each newspaper weighted over 5 pounds. It would take me hours to deliever them all for 3 dollars. I did that till I was in high school.

I'm kind of in-between too. Like Hiker, I love having a clean house, but after working 50 to 55 hours a week, I sure don't want to spend the rest of my time cleaning.
