The observance of the Sabbath, the cycles of the feasts and more are
clearly spelled out in the Law, which was fullfilled by Jesus. The law,
given because of the sin in the desert [golden calf party] was meant to
be temporary.

If you hold fast to the old-law as obligatory, you then deny the
importance and value of the messiah. something to think about.

Not just any day of the week. The Lord asked for the observance of one
day and He said "Remember the Seventh Day". God knew there would be
diversion about this subject so He secured the Day from the attempts of
man to change "time". The naming of the days are pagean not the
arrangement of the days. God made us that means we are subject to Him.
He will not lower Himself to accept what we feel like giving Him but
will accept only what He requires. Remember Cain and Abel? He accepted
Abel's sacrifice because that was what He required. Now, to all those
who thinks that any day is OK. Think again! It is not. The observance of
Sabbath from the Seventh dat to the First day was established over time
by the Roman Empire. This is Biblical History. It pays to be educated
because with education comes wisdom. God is unchanging and will not
change his laws to suit man. We are doomed if we think that. Obedience
to his law is the only means of us being saved.

yup. i dont know much but i know the bible is quite specific on the
subject. Dont understand how the churches missed it. As for the theory
about christ doing away with the sabbath, why did his decuiples follow
the sabbath in Acts? Is rape and murder and Adultry ok now since Christ
died for all our sins? We are to follow the Law, as a Christian why
would we do otherwise? His Laws are not Grevious. Do we disobey our
parents or is it better to listen to thier teachings? How much better a
teacher must our Father in heaven be!
