While talking to the new aide last night she commented that she thought that all men were gifted with the knowledge of undoing bra straps. I had to disgree because I thought it was an acquired knowledge which had to be learned by trial and error. I also thought that not all bras are created equally and that some must be more difficult than others. I also told her that I ws trying to put the bra back on the resident and before becoming to the nursing home that I had much less experience in putting bras on than in taking them off.

Well it made me wonder the life expectancy of bras.

lol Rob. I just thought I would share some of my ignorance with the forum. I seem to have an over abundance of it and have plenty to go around.

I am just thinking about putting bras on people who lie in a vegitative state, or are combative. I don't envy your job, but am glad there are people like you that do it.

Here is a good comeback if someone tells you that they can't believe you are that stupid. Just tell them then that they just don't know you that well.

Rob, thank you. I really enjoy doing what I do. I have never a job I liked so well and feel confident in doing like this job. I really love helping people and found a way I can do and feel the rewards of the job.
