I'm still waiting for the day my teenager grows up a little more and calls me up one day to say, "Mom, I am so SORRY for treating you like crap all those years. I was so horrible." I think that happens to all of us at some point. I remember when I told my mother how much respect I had for her for raising 4 of us, mostly alone. I have my hands full with one! waiting for my 20 yr old son to do that too! May be a long wait. He doesn't even remember the day I had to call the police on him or so he says 
Wait til he has kids of his own. It's payback in action.
