beautiful and articulately said DaddyTime...

Here is Gibran....from The Prophet
I LOVE this , most hate it...

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.

I am sorry but Anonymous is a joke and there
"hacking" is outdate and their attacks childish.
Most of their attack are denial of service(DDoS).

Anyone can do this there are tut's all over the web,
they say they work for the people, but thinking
back I was very pissed off that they took out the
playstation network. that was not what the people
wanted.

They are simply another annoying group looking
for attention. Playing with the big boy will only
get them in trouble and Israel don't play nice.

right

best friends, imho, are walking BESIDE each other, experiencing similar things and learning similar lessons TOGETHER

So here I am walking with my children who also happen to my best friends.......????

I think I will get out here before you do my head in..drinker waving flowerforyou

laugh laugh

some people think they are superior to their children...poor kids!

superior = better,,, no

if superior = accepting more responsibility and therefore more privilege,,,, YES

if superior = having superior LIFE ESPERIENCE (more years, more situations ,,etc,,')

YES

or else we could have been amoebas and just spit out fully grown and responsible adults who absorb our knowledge and expeirence through osmosis and who are truly our EQUAL,,,,,

but that AINT happenin,,,,lol

What you absorb only you see as knowledge, and experience does not = intelligence. You teach you're children you're views and beliefs , force them on them, as if you are right when you honestly have no clue whats right or wrong because no one does.

Since no one knows no one should force anything on a child,
they will make their choices when they are older.

We are simply here to offer love and guidance like op says above.

In a lot of ways our children are better then us, as they have no alternative motive, nothing they do can be bad, as they do not know
any better they are blank, pure innocence.

As adults we lose all that and get polluted by the world,
we have no right forcing any of our beliefs on our children.

this is why they grow up messed up, mommy and daddy beat them
till they believed certain things, so they are scared to think otherwise and have their own thoughts when they get older.

Might as well just buy a robot and program it, them it will be exactly what you want and you can make it do whatever you please.

A child is not you're slave it is you're responsibility,
you are you're child's slave till its 18. and you should be
thankful for them ever minute of you're life.

Valentines day will be a painful one for me this year,
be the 1st in a long time that won't be spent with my ex
and I just know it's going to bother me that she is
out with her new old man that day. it has only been
a couple weeks since we officially split so anything
like this is hard right now.

It is hard, but it gets easier. And you may look back on it later on and feel completely different about what is bringing you down right now. I don't presume to know your exact situation, but remember~ Time heals all wounds and time wounds all heels.
flowerforyou

Ah like many men I went and had kids with the wrong women,
I am more upset my ideal of a family did not pan out then
the loss of my partner. She is not a good person and I am
way better off, just around these times you remember the
good and wonder what if.

Thank you for you're well wishes I appreciate them,
and Hopefully it won't take too much time to resolve
myself.

My best Valentine's Day was when my Dad showed up with a rose and took me out for supper. You can create new traditions with your kids, too! There are lots of kinds of love to celebrate on Valentin'es Day!

I was thinking about doing something like that,
my mother always did something special for me on
valentines day.

So far this site seems to be a bit slow. Maybe it's because it's 4 in the morning!

Likely it's 4 am for me as well,
should get to bed the kids don't
let me sleep late.

More active in the day/evening.

I am always up for a big mac lol

That is my baby. It would be extra weird to have someone elses baby as my profile picture!

I will tell you more of my pedo jokes when we go for a walk in the forest.

Can you stop at McDonald's for me on
you're way back? I want a big mac.

oops offtopic shades

I hope your talking to me, because she wont be coming back!

OK, no more pedo joke.

Welcome to Mingle, whateveryournameis, dont let yourself get offended by me, or you are gonna be offended often.

I don't care who brings it back as long
as I get my food.

Smileys. :) don't we all use them. Well yeah, depends if you put them before or after what you said.

It's easier to simply stick to my normal :) lol

Smileys are fun sometimes though.

Very true in both cases, although I have never
mastered the use of smileys, I do like that one
alien with the probe when you put it next to the
sheep on MSN. slaphead

Will do. As long as people(specifically pedos) don't try anything smart, then it should be alright.

Hello little girl, would you like to come and see some puppies?

I do not know how humorous pedo jokes are,
when you're display picture is a baby.

I think it's more that awkward type of
funny, where everyone just looks around
at one another, not sure what to do or say.

Smileys do make a difference in writing. :)

lol indeed, they distract you from
the stupidity of the post. lmao

But yes I agree, I do like the formalities
of a forum as well.

Walk up behind then gently brush her hair aside
and softly place a kiss on her neck, give her
a smack on the a$$ and walk away. Glance back
once if she looks at you and smiles you're in.

If she looks at you any other way, run.

I love to cook and prefer to do most of the cooking,
I at one time had dreams of being a chef but my
male influences discouraged me.

My ex never learned to cook and still only
knows how to make a few things. More and
more men are stepping in to the kitchen
these days.

proper grammar and language also overrated,
only in some circumstances do I find this
an issue.

maybe that because I have no idea what
it is, as long as my text lines up evenly
I am happy lol :)

Besides what's more proper then a smiley?

It's all ages but teens tend to stick to the chatrooms and the older ones to the forums. Theres around 30 chatrooms. And 12-15 forums. I don't like the chatrooms but the forums are ok. :) They get a bit out of hand though.

Yeah us oldies like the forums,
don't feel as rushed, have more
time to think before you post.
(If you're in to that kind of thing)

Chat always seems to rushes and the
ones I have been in, there are always
so many conversations going on it's
easy to lose track.

(us old people forget things
and get lost sometimes)
