What's the alternative? A peaceful, quiet life without stress. I don't think that's possible for me, and it sounds lonely. If you meet the right person, it's good - not bad. I think. |

Nah it's not just you. I usually go by when they were last on site. I generally go off the theory of usually females find what they are looking for or interested inn in the first week on a site. And those that have been off line for over a month most likely means that they have found something and either forgot to deactivate their account or just moved on. Some are all so possibly scanners that just moved on to another screen name / face. But I have realised activity in the forums have a better chance of a live person on the other end. I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to ... online chat? I just respond to messages when I have time, unless we are "chatting" back and forth, then I treat it more like a phone conversation.
To meet up for coffee, I would certainly need a time and date - not just going to sit there and hope they show up. |

 On topic: I agree with what ever feels right... If you feel like you are being strung along, you can insist on moving forward and see what happens. I tend to be slow, so if the guy who send me a message with his phone number isn't a scammer, I will never know - because that's too fast for me. I do think this format can require more patience than traditional meet ups that start with a face to face. |
