Does your taste in music affect whether someone will like you or not?

I hope not but it might make them wonder.

Wow...that would be someone I wouldn't like...so I guess in the long run it wouldn't really matter. Kind of a petty thing to bother yourself about.

How would I know? I can't read their mind.

Yeah music taste shouldnt really be a factor. I'm sure that if someone likes you its beause of who you are, not whats in your album collection.

No, there is more than life than music, besides if you really like someone you can be grown up enough to share.

That shouldn't matter as long as they cared about you.

I think it is important to be compatible and music reflects a persons personality

The reason I ask is because I met someone I liked and we share a lot of the same interests even the same music, butshe hates country and I mentioned I like a few country songs and a couple of te singers, but really whenever I have the choice of listening to something its rock. Now its been about a week since we talked and I am thinking thats the reason. Or maybe I am just crazy and there is some other reason I havent heard from her

i tend to think that it does, when i usually tellpeople about the music i listen to, they usually back off, its their own interpertations to my music, and if you dont have the proper ear for it, you wont understand it

straight edge hardcore baby!

Naw if it is something I don't care for then hey if I listen to what they like they better be ready to listen to what I like. If one is not open minded then I don't care to be around them anyway.bigsmile

Does your taste in music affect whether someone will like you or not?

well my man, Kinda......see, not if you don't plan on going to concerts together, listening to the radio when they are around, making love to a song on the radio that you hate but she loves.....these situations may cause some problems....generally speaking though......I don't think you will have problems but however....by rule of thumb....I suggest trying to find someone with at least SOME of the same music styles in common and like some of the same ones. Hope it helps bro.Best of luck.
