I met a guy on here and the picture was so dark you couldn't see anything. So when he sent me message and a picture he was very nice looking and has a great out look on life.

Some folks don't have a picture to upload, or they can't figure out how, or the pic is too large to do so. Others, I figure they are married or otherwise engaged. And, some have a stigma about being recognized by people they know in real life. As for HAVING a picture, there are too many whose pics are FAKES anyway or they are older pics and they don't look that way anymore!! Happens with both genders.

There are so many men who don't post a picture. Why do you think that is? Shame? I keep a g-rated webcam online as well as 5 years worth of photos. If that doesn't scare a woman away, she's probably worth making a friend. Of course it means I have to put clothing on when I pretend to work now... dammit!

Your so right there are because I have met a few and they look nothing like them self what a shock. It makes it hard for those who do put an up dated picture. I guess people get lonely as well and may they are to shy. Maybe the are just passing the time of day and really don't care one why or the other.

I used to but I ended up with flash in the pan relationships and people who didn't read my profile. It's there, just not my default anymore.
