Ok, I was in a little silly mood when I wrote this one. It might sound a little confusing, but I thought of the song or poem, "I Love You More Today Than Yesterday." So, I hope you get the drift of it.


Yesterday Is Here

What you did the day before
Is what I expect by chance,
When you looked at me softly
With that seducitive flirting glance.
Yesterday is here today
But it still seems to be brand new,
When those three special words are said
Honey, I love you.

The words you told me yesterday
Are the same ones I love to hear,
If I didn't hear them today, my love
Then I would have something to fear.
There's nothing like the present
To hear my yesterday,
The future looks bright as well
If I can hear you say.

I loved you yesterday
But I love you more so now,
But tomorrows looking even better
This, I solemnly vow.
If today is as good as yesterday
Then tomorrow will be great,

But today is on my plate.
