I went on with my life and showed him that i didn't need him anymore, that's the best revenge

 . I live now with all that I had then...my own house, a little savings, a modest, but intact retirement fund, PLUS I'm a 165lbs lighter  ! Lost? One 165 lb spineless, dishonest, deceitful husband  !!!

Don't know that I would call it real "revenge" but while we were still married and he had come home especially mean and nasty, he would wake up the next morning really hungover. Then yell at me to fix him breakfast, so I did
He liked hot chili, so I heated up hot chili and "accidentally" spilled some extra oil in it, fried a couple of eggs to put on the chili and "oops, spilled some more extra oil into the chili." Stirred it up good so it didn't show, of course. Fixed him some toast with LOTS OF BUTTER. Then a great BIG GLASS OF MILK. Hand-delivered it to him in bed. Usually within 10-15 minutes I would hear his feet hit the floor as he ran for the bathroom . I would ask, "you okay." He would respond that he got sick. I would ask if he wanted "some more." He would yell back "NO!!!"  That is the closest I ever got to revenge, but not sure I would call it revenge, just "creative cooking???"

I don't do revenge.It only serves to make you look like an ass.While I don't believe in letting people walk all over me,I am a big believer in Karma.It may take awhile but what comes around ,goes around.

I was looking forward to reading some real nasty revenge.
I didn't do anything either. I didn't have the heart to do anything back. I was more numbed and in disbelieve than in hate. When I got felt hate and rage to kill the guy... I had an emergency meeting with my Pastor and we prayed and defused the situation. Deep down I know I am 50% responsible for the my wife's cheating. |

However, I have been questioning a lot of myself and studying "Why wives cheat?" And you know on the surface... YES, I am a great husband the NICE Guy... Give great Massages, Makes Breakfast Mon-Fri, Makes Kids' Lunches, and Make Dinner 50% of the time. Studied all those Christian stuff: Home Group, "Purpose Driven Life", "His Needs Her Needs", "Love & Respect", "Love, Sex & Long Lasting Relationship", and other stuff. But she still cheated on me. It is not because she is a bad horrible person but a condition that is in grained in us by our environment (in Christian term the World moral). Statistics... 100% of the women say they hate cheaters and cheaters are bad people and yet 40-50% of them cheat. Why is that? I cannot stop questioning at the simple answer, "she is a bad person." Some of you read my "Nice Guy" Post... the reason why I talk about it so much is because that is part of the answer I got. Women will Cheat on the NICE GUY. Yelling and being Confrontational and not Taking Crap from your woman is a part of a healthy relationship (but don't be a Jerk, there is a line that you shouldn't cross). It establishes Alpha. Relationship with a woman being very Alpha in nature, will be a problem. However, I was proven wrong a month ago when my bro-in-law's wife cheated on him and she wasn't Alpha at all. He left her so fast, no one knows where he is. They had it all... the $500,000 home, a lake in the backyard, new cars every year, stay at home mom, and lovely kids. Maybe because he is a pilot. I don't know.. I don't have the all the answers... but I am not giving up. |
