I don't respond to people sending me messages looking for love because they obviously haven't taken the time to look at my PIC much less my PROFILE.
However, I will respond to people wishing me a lovely day, or needing prayers for a recent family member that has fallen ill, etc.... Maybe if you READ the PROFILE instead of just STARING at their PICS and ASSUMING you are what they need in their lives you might get a message back. It also helps if you actually have something in common with the women you are pursuing. Oh, and as far as posting in the forums??? IT HELPS!!! Just ask one of my friends whom had never posted in the forums and was complaining about how he never had any women looking at him. I told him to start posting and now he has tons of friends and has already gone on a few dates! |

When I first made a profile, I only got the occasional glance and email. Then I started to post on the forums and my popularity skyrocketed. Especially when I began posting in the religion forum.
It really helps to meet people that's for sure. I recommend it to everyone.

um its not just the women. men dont respond either. now i know im not completely dog ugly so i dont see the reason why they dont. I respond to everybody who writes. But then again, I guess I'm not a typical guy -- my profile has more than seven words. I also respond to everyone who emails me. Though, because many don't, some men take a simple response as me being interested when I'm not. |

Though, because many don't, some men take a simple response as me being interested when I'm not. Thats another problem with just trying to "give a friendly response" Many men interpret that as a sign that it is okay to continue to write you and that you are interested when you were only trying to be polite and give them a "thank you but no thanks." Some men are crazy and desperate and dont know when enough is enough. Its those kind of guys that have blown it for everyone.

You are right, it must be the great plan of world domination...see I think I figured it out: first the ladies get interest sparked by viewing profiles at random, then the guy (us) thinks they are interested thus dispatching the first of a series of emails that will go unanswered...while the lady on the other end grins and chuckles to herself, eventually years pass by and the guy still trys to email her...before passing on his bank account information among other personal information which all the ladies here collect and use to finance their world domination plans. Eventually every nation will have a woman president and the ladies will send the men to space to fend for ourselves, which inevitably we will perish too. Pretty good, eh?

I find your Post very cocky!! News Flash-u are not the only one that is e-mailing the girl or girls that are not responding to your e-mail ..this is like a job interview...yes most of us are "hiring' for different positions...but u are not going to get responses from all potential "employers" you sent an "application" to, not all applications lead to an interview.:P.. Now stop the whining.. Move on..there is plenty out there. |

This guy must be so regretting this thread now.
 That will teach him not to be so reactionary and just post something to complain without thinking it through.  And whoever had made the comment that he looks just like Al Bundy in his main profile photo was dead on balls accurate.

want him to spell properly, Probably too much to ask for, male OR female, especially in today's day and age. It is not too much to ask. If someone can not spell or use proper grammar, then I do not feel the need to respond to them. It is a reflection of their overall intelligence and an indication that I will not find them a compatible mate. amen! i posted a thread on that and got jumped to pieces the other night. im not asking for someone to spell completely right but at least dont make an effort of purposely misspelling something Pffft! If you only knew how many times I've been jumped on because of being a stickler for spelling/grammar/punctuation.... I can understand the occasional typo. Everybody's human (well, MOSTLY everybody), everybody is allowed a little latitude for mistakes. I get that. What I have a problem with is grown people who have no concept of simple 2nd grade English. There/their/they're, your/you're/yore, through/threw, to/too/two, etc., ad infinitum. Even if a person is deliberately going to misspell something, the least they could do is misspell it correctly (ya follow?). I have to add another one: lose/loose. |
