the bills have to be paid.I've heard about too many people cheating because their partner was working all the time.

my dad did that to us.
he was hardly ever home and when we needed him he wasent there and when we didnt need him he was there.. my sisters dont really want anything to do with him. and on xmas i felt i needed to invite him and my mom didnt have a problem but my one sister that was there was pisted off at me.. i was just thinking of him being alone sense my step mom had died.... you know the song cats-n- the cradle that fits my dad to complete t.
my older sister used to play that song on the piano..
how my mom handle the situation she finally had enough and they got divorced when i was 11.(and he married to my stepmom 6months later) but we also know, even though he may not had admited it that he was having affair with his secrtary of 10yrs. my dad and stepmom were married for 32yrs

Not always do people have the choices that some people think they have about work. It all sounds good to say take this job and shove it but the reality if a spouse quits or looses their job many relationships fall apart.

The best way to get a person to come home is make home a place they want to be. Not every person is into hearth and home and children. I have seen some people that treat their dog better than they do the spouse who supports them and their children.

It is hard to deal with people like that.
My mom is the type of person that brings her work with her where ever she goes. By that I mean it is constantly on her mind and she is always stressing about it when she is at home and should be thinking about other things like her kids or husband.
Her work gets in the way of everything. She is already a pretty 'uptight' individual, but she stresses over so much more when she has work on her mind. Everything bad that happens is blown way out of proportion and she will yell a lot. Even when no one did anything worth being yelled at for.

I would never get involved with someone like that in the first place, because there would be signs, so I don't have to worry about dealing with it!
