I don't like "the chase" but I do think a little bit of playing "hard to get" is fair for both guys and girls. It shows that the relationship will take a little bit of work and that things won't be handed to either person. "Hard to get" is a game I won't play. I have better things to waste my time on. You're right. It is still somewhat of a game, but I won't give in to every guy all the time. They have to show they want to be with me and not just use me or play games with my head and emotions. They have to prove they want to be with me for me and not just for a**. Just saying. So, after he's spent a bunch of time, dumped a bunch of cash, and generally made a fool of himself just to prove he's interested, then maybe you MIGHT consider him? Nah. Who send anything about needing to spend a bunch of cash? You just assumed that is what I expect. Making a fool of himself? Never said he had to do that either. But I refuse to jump from relationship to relationship just cause someone says they like me. Proving it can be talking for a while and getting to know each other. He can show he's truly interested in me by doing other things than spending money. What about sticking to his word? Not lying? Not cheating? |
