Is it just me or do some other people out there seem kinda lost and scared at what our government is doing?

How do you vote for something that you dont even know what all is in it? You cant tell me that any one of them read the whole thing! How can you read 1000 pages in less than a day and comprehend what it all entails.

Last time I took a test and didnt read what the test was for I failed the test.

That gives me the sinking feeling that this plan while it might have somethings in it that will help, but I fear some of the things might not.

What are they thinking?

You've obviously never dealt with loan documentation or commercial insurance policies or legal addenda.

Be that as it may, and although I HAVE read all sorts of policies, promissory notes and addenda, I know me, and my eyes would glaze over. One starts seeking highlights and pertenent data. They get fed up, pooped out and said, "Whatever, it's dinner time", and THAR SHE BLOWS!!! Ahhhh! Gotta love bureaucracy. "Hey, Joe, Hey Ho, did you get enough out of that? You promise, you swear,.... really,... that is what he said and meant? Okay!!! I dig!!"

This is because there is nothing there to think about. The idea is to inflate. New money create new (mis allocation) demand. Bad in the long run. But they aren't there for the long run.

I don't understand why so much money in the stimulus package is being given to defense. How does that help the economy?

That's the normal annual budget part.
We have to rebuild the military after Bush ran it ragged, equip and manpower, and that wont be cheap!

The money is supposed to be spent on things that stimulate the economy. That is different then the annual budget. How does that stimulate the economy?

Its just irritating. Did you hear Nancy Pelosy talk before the vote? She said that for years we have been trying to do things now we can finaly do them. Why does it all have to be thrown in this bill? lets just put things in that might help now. They have atleast 4 years to do the rest of what they want.

I guess, it is really hard to understand then.

This economic order we live with now, since 1933, is called Keynes Economics. Because of the name of the slimy "inventor" Lord Maynard Keynes.

He invented a way to tax without taxing, through inflation. As a side benefit, it is possible to inflict short term mis allocation of resources, which will look like a boom, after which follows the inescapable withdrawal. The withdrawal can be delayed, but only at a price of a next withdrawal being progressively higher, since all mis allocations still need to be squared away, and only through depression.

When Keynes was explaining how his scam works to powerful government people, they couldn't get it either. They were shopping for a scam, and yet, expected an explanation that makes sense. Keynes finally told them, that it is so fncking doesn't matter, that one could spend the money on burying stuff underground and pay workers to dig it out, and it would still work the same. Why? Because, what you spend money on is only a misdirection. Your main act is that you inflate the money supply. You can't tell your voters, however, that this is all you doing. They want magic, not an explanation. So, you misdirect. To this day, many congressmen still believe there is a difference on how you spend the stimulus. But, according to the inventor of the scam himself, there is none.

Now, if somebody wants to think that our military needs to be rebuilt after W Bush destroyed it, which needed to be rebuilt after Clinton destroyed it, and so on, then that's fine. A guy wants to believe in something good. He wants the boom (effects of mis allocation of capital) to happen (being a result of inflation, where it doesn't matter where the money go, as long as they are being created), but doesn't want to approve this knowingly and consciously.

As for the long term effects, it HAS to end in complete ruination. There is no difference between how this scam economy works and how drug addiction works. Congress has asked Keynes as to what an ultimate price would be for the coutry. He did not answered, expecting them to be grown up adults, and to know that you can't be going for a murder, and hope no one will be hurt. But, like some on this very board, the congressmen wanted both. So, they asked him again, as to what would be the long term result of running this scam. He said "In the long run we are all dead" (meaning how frieken more clear can I make it for you, pussies? Are you going to be thoughtful of the future and work all your life, or are you going to summon some balls and run this country to the ground, living like a kind in the process?).

You must know, that Keynes first proposed this system to Adolf Hitler, saying that it best can serve the interests of a dictator. But Hitler rejected. He turned out to really care of Germany, except, he had chosen wrong ways to achieve the greatness. But he did not outright sold out. Nope.

So, then Keynes turned to Roosevelt. When Roosevelt found out how the scam works, he was bouncing off the walls of excitement. The rest is history.
