I am fearful but I still try to take positive actions and work as though everything was going to work out. If it does I want to be on top if it doesn't want to be on top too though

I don't think anyone is in complete denial, but I would prefer people focus on what is and what can be done even in small ways, rather than people spewing all sorts of things they can't prove or that really do nothing to help solve anything.

We can't always control the government but we damn well can control our immdiate surroundings, what we say, what we do about any giving circumstance. I live in a small town hit with a lot of factory closings, and it's amazing to see how people deal with that here. And they do deal with it much better than I see in the news or on Mingle it seems.

Agreed however what happens if we do nothing or change nothing. That is what's happening. If things change we have all the hope in the world.

Is it the United States,Western civilization,or the entire world thats supposed to be coming to this "END"?

I have decided to make a personal change and have hope for the future of mankind.

Well actually according to the mayans it's a Beginning rather than an ending but it suggests it will be a violent change. And it's the entire world not just western civilization.

I am a firm believer that it is smaller towns and smaller businesses that will survive the best. I've just always wanted to do better than just survive. That possiblity may be taken from us by a government that is out of control.

The ancient Romans would agree completely.

So would the Egyptian and the Mayans. It is the cycle of time of which you speak.

Personally I think we are going through some normal and spiritual growing pains. As for the economy we are learning as individuals that there are limits. I don't see that as a bad thing. In fact we should have been teaching the last generation about limits and spending habits. Some times we learn the hard way and we are learning the hard way, but it still is what we make it, no?

I refuse to be pessimistic, at least for myself, I accomplish nothing when I am in that state of mind. Kinda like when my house is cluttered, my mind is cluttered. If I want to change I make it happen and if I can't seem to I will get information to help me with it, I keep going, keep moving in a positive direction. I don't want to be part of the problem, see where I am going? Of am I not making any sense.. Could be, I'm tired.. LOL

Individuals have to change and that change can be catching. One person started a garden in my niegbhorhood, and now even those that weren't going to, are doing the same.

Do they have room for gardens in china??

Cows don't generally plant gardens... but they can be good at helping them grow
