She was Shepard/wolf and was loved by all that knew her, when she passed and I had to tell the neighborhood kids they cried and sent some some beautiful homemade sympathy cards that I have on my wall to this day!

So sorry to hear about you losing your much loved dog. My own dog has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer and I do not know how much longer he will be with me. He has been my constant companion for the last 9 years and I am not looking forward to when he is no longer with me.

2 years ago, a week before my birthday, I witnessed my lil dog murdered by a neighbor's dog...I held him in my arms for 12hrs till he died. (It was a Sunday & there were no emergency vets in the area) I still get misty when I think about him...I feel for you, Mikey...

I am sorry Mikey, I will give my dog a hug for you.
I had a beloved dog that died of old age 4 yrs ago, I have a different dog now but still grieve my wonderful Lab-mix that passed away. I have a his ashes still and a small shrine for him. Know that you pet is in doggie heaven. |

Think of the good times you had before Simba got sick. Simba would want you to be enjoying life. Remember the expression on her face when you were sad? It worried her. So, smile and laugh it up in Simba's memory.
