implore you! Send a message to the FTC to help MoveOn PAC battle fox news' truly insane claim that they report in a "fair and balanced" fashion. The FTC is controlled by the unGodly, biased, liberals... why would anyone wanting anything fair and balanced like Fox news reported to them ! Oh and by the way, what is it you would like the FTC to do about Foxnews ?.....censor them ? I guess that would be fair and balanced ! Mature adults learn how to live with apposeing views they don't attempt to squelch them. Besides Foxnews IS the Only HONEST, FAIR AND BALANCED NEWS THAT THERE IS....LIVE WITH IT !

If you don't like what Fox News has to say then don't watch it. Last time I knew we still had the freedom to pick and choose the tv channels we watch. (Not sure how long before thats gone though). I don't understand the small minded justification for censoring. Do you honestly believe the other stations report accurate information. At least Fox News tells it like it is regardless of party affiliation. Its people like this that have aided those who have tried to take over and control us, removing our freedoms one by one. Fox News is inspiring not misleading. They should be recognized for letting the people know what is truely going on in this country!

boycotts are more effective than your proposed action, OP. If viewership declines, sponsors will leave and Faux news will die (same for the other phony MSM news outlets-I never use them)

News media have to have SPONSORS. Anything bigger than local news will have a 'spin' that suits its sponsors.

can we get smirkingchimp, commondreams and truthout banned too??? pretty please??? it's funny how some bash one side for it being biased but have no problem with the biased media on the other side. I guess as long as they say what you want to hear it's all good???

Just thinking a bit more on this. Another way to 'bring down' any media is to stop watching or supporting it. When corporations lose viewers they lose consumers, they lose consumers, they lose clients, and shows get cut cause nobody wants that. It seems enough people enjoy those shows to keep them on the air, so if it seems like mindless dribble to you,,just dont watch it or (like I do when Im HOPING they are actually going to have a balanced story) change to a more ,,,fact based, news source.

In a normal society that would work. americans are so stupified they are ripe for propaganda. Were else but america can health care be treated as a for profit industry? Were else but america can positive change be vilified by the Ultra rich as communism? Daily I am stunned at the ignorance of the american people. In every measurable catagory we are failing and the one guy (Obama) who is trying to fix the mess of 8 years of Bush is getting slammed by the right wing and especialy Fox news the biggest cheerleader of the Bush years.

I feel your pain, but the way to fix it is not by bullying or overlooking opposing opinions. There are many opinions in our country and many different NEWS sources to continue re inforcing each one. That is freedom at its best and worst. Maybe we should just be more supportive of the shows that give positive imagery and honest reporting so that sponsors would support those shows more often than the others. If there is a majority ( I dont think there is) who are brainless, than as the minority we just have to stay patient and wait for the tides to shift as they always do.

When I hear about the myth of the left wing media I cringe at the ignorance of most people, one has to ask yourself who owns the media and what is their net worth? you will not find a hippie or peace actavist heading up a news network you will find a fat rich guy with alot to loose if taxes on the rich are raised to support a war or healthcare for that matter
