Got girlfriend/feonca that is adickted to hospitals, And she has a bad atutuded about most things latly.It's making me nuts. Any addvice? What do you mean by "she is addicted to hospitals" ?????? Nevermind, I got it now. Thats weird ! Yikes ! |

Normally I would agree. But as I found out just befor I Put this up she lost two kids and killed one. Sarry if they Don't truly want help I have no use for them. she killed a kid?

Hospital-addiction Syndrome - a form of Munchausen Syndrome - effect patients who spend much of their lives in hospitals with fictitious symptoms that were usually dramatic, indulged in pathological lying and submitted to repeated unnecessary operations. Munchausen syndrome is a type of factitious disorder, or mental illness, in which a person repeatedly acts as if he or she has a physical or mental disorder when, in truth, they have caused the symptoms. People with factitious disorders act this way because of an inner need to be seen as ill or injured, not to achieve a concrete benefit, such as financial gain. They are even willing to undergo painful or risky tests and operations in order to get the sympathy and special attention given to people who are truly ill. Munchausen syndrome is a mental illness associated with severe emotional difficulties. Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSP), also a type of factitious disorder, is a mental illness in which a person acts as if an individual he or she is caring for has a physical or mental illness when the person is not really sick. People with MSP assume the role of a sick person indirectly by producing or lying about illness in another person under their care. Caregivers and mothers are the largest group affected by this psychosis. They subject their patients and/or children to unnecessary medical care, treatments and surgeries to gain sympathy.
