Say someone is legally divorced but they are still living with their ex-wife/husband would you still date them?

I went out with a girl who lived with her ex boyfriend, they had been together for 8 yrs and just broken up for about 6 months. It didn't help that she told me he frequently asked her if she thought they would ever get back together. It felt totally uncomfortable and I bailed after a couple of dates.

I don't think I'd have made it to a second one:laughing:

I didn't know until the second date. She introduced him as her room mate at first and then dropped the bomb on the second date, thats when I bailed.

NO!!!!!
MY first thought would be......are they HOPING to get back with them????? I would certainly question as to WHY they are still living with them!! It kinda tells me they dont know what they really WANT!

I've asked this before but why can't people finish one relationship before involving other people? If a person is still living with a former partner, then who the f@ck told them they should be dating? Really? That's not at all awkward when you bring the date home? Anyone getting involved in such a situation deserves what they get...on both sides.

Been there and done that...all I can say is that it hurt when it did not work out for us. Once she saw that he was moving on, she played the ace (of hearts) and how can you fight the history they shared. Hard enough when two people live apart - almost impossible if they are under the same roof. So no, never again.

where one lives is not necessarily indicative of whom one is DATING. IT would be awkward to date at the home you share but otherwise many people invest good money to have a home and shouldnt have to choose between marriage or moving out,,if they are mature.

this is the odds game

what are the odds of them getting drunk and bumping uglies:9 out of 10. the reason i typed 9 instead of 10 the guy may not have been able to get it up cause he was to drunk
