Why Men Cheat
First of all, men don't always cheat, but when they do, here are some possible reasons: 1. They are not ready to have commitments. 2. They no longer feel satisfied/stimulated in their current relationship and are too cowardly to end the relationship. 3. They are concerned aobut their financial/living situation if they end the relationship, but do not feel fulfilled in it. 4. They like various sex partners. 5. They crave the initial excitement and illicitness of a "secret" affair. 6. They need to feel desired and their partner does not fulfill that need. 7. Men are single-minded and don't think about the consequences of their actions. 8. Some men cheat because they think they can get by with it. 9. Some cheat because they don't take their relationships seriously. 10. Guys cheat because many of them increasingly feel powerless in a society that is giving women more rights & powers in the domestic & public spheres. 11. Men stray outside of long-term relationships to remember what it was like to be desirable and free. "Schedules" and routine destroy self image. 12. The woman's sex drive isn't what it was when you first got married. 13. Having sex with more than one woman is an ego boost for those with low self-esteem. 14. Men cheat because they are bored in their current relationships 15. The man perceives that the partner is bored with or no longer interested in sex. 16. Lack of or poor communication with the spouse/girlfriend can lead a man to cheat. 17. other people are something new and different 18. you have no old baggage with someone new 19. maybe they want something with ''no strings'' 20. different people have different likes and dislikes 21. their spouses might not be interested in doing the sexual things the men want to try out (e.g. oral, greek, 3-ways, etc.) or even afraid or morally against such kinks. |

The question should be why does anyone cheat?
Because they can. Society has given the ok to a whole generation of men and women to cheat. They even give excuses, (some listed above) that cheaters use to excuse their bad behavior. My wifie didnt understand me. I am not happy. Hubbie asked me to clean up after myself. As soon as people start standing up and saying that cheating is wrong as a society then cheating will be cut drastically. But when you have sites on line that are specifically geared to cheating its not going to go away. It is real simple folks, if you are not happy with the one you are with, no matter how much time you have "invested" in a relationship, either fix the problem together and work out a solution or cut the other person loose before you decide to go out and cheat on them. Nothing personal against the OP, just generally addressing anyone that reads. |

Nah, it's genetic.
  Ya see, men have thousands of sperms every single day swimming around whose sole purpose is to go after that one little old egg that comes around but once a month. Their best chance to pass their genes along to their progeny is to douse as many eggs as they can. Logically, it would be beneficial for the man to have multiple partners, more eggs to fertilize, better chance to pass on genes. It's actually pretty simple biologically speaking. But before you go throwing me to the wolves here, I should note that a woman only has that one precious egg as a chance to pass on her genes so we're pretty selective about the quality of the sperm that get access. Men biologically benefit from quantity while women biologically benefit from quality. And guess who controls the decision to mate?  Which ultimately means a guy actually has a better chance of passing on his genes if he suppresses his basic instincts in favor of becoming the quality guy that a woman wants. That's another lesson though and slightly off topic. What this really boils down to is: all dumbazzes cheat but quality men don't! |

You know what's worse than cheating, as bad as it is? Not having any remorse, repentance, or guilt about cheating. Those type of people are pure evil.

And with whom are these cheating men cheating? Seems like 'It takes on to know one' often has some basis in fact. Otherwise, one would have to conclude that women are really gullible when it comes to a smooth-talking handsome devil.
Looking back over my life, it was always the women who were obsessed about being cheated upon that were the biggest betrayers. And had an almost self-righteous air about them as they rationalized their being caught with their hand in someone else's cookie jar. -Kerry O. |
