putting up a photo of something other than yourself works,well atleast on here it does...i get views not really responses but i'm atleast being acknowledged, some sites won't even let you post photos unless its of yourself,i haven't gotten viewed more than 2 months on that one......has anyone noticed this too?

I only started getting views once I put up my cleavage shot. Before that, it didn't matter what pic I had up.

I really think that a person should put up a picture of themselves.e are no surprises for whoever views you.

Depends. As long as I don't post any pics that contain body parts- not mine- I don't get many views. However, if I post of a photo of a girls' feet in boots, or her hands, or her eye or anything, they assume it's me and they run to the profile and email or nudge me. If I post something like a book or a coffee cup it's not so bad, although you still have numb skulls who don't read my details and still try to contact me, when they should know better.

So now I have up my reliable coffee cup, and real pics of myself for them to view in case they get that far. So far, no views (unless they're in stealth) and no contact. *Sigh* Happy happy joy joy.

I've never really paid attention to what pic is up when I get a view..now I will, and I'll gather the data for you.

I think it's different for the women, and then many women look in stealth mode, I think most men hope she'll see that he's looked and contact him- or something. I've had several "repeat pervers" which is funny. I don't find it flattering, I think it's creepy, like repeatedly driving by someone's house, hoping she'll look out the window...

I think men look at anything that says female in their search criteria with no regards to age, location, ethnicity, nothing. Women might be more selective, I don't know, I don't even search for men anymore, everything I find is too ick for my tastes. I just know I get a lot of views and nudges from desperate men who apparently didn't plan their search very well. Makes my block list very long.....

I put up a pic of a snowman and got more views than ever. I think people just perv ya to get an idea of what the person they read in the forums looks like, especially if they strongly agree or disagree or just think you are plain nuts.

Cleavage, sexy legs in boots, or any other anatomy will work regardless of whom it's a picture of.

I post anything I like on here, as long as it's tasteful.

Because whatever I post for a pic represents me on a more intimate level. It really doesn't have to be a personal picture, IMO.
