well im gonna go with (x+1) because until you find (x) you won't know which is the right one. And even if you
find your (x) how long will it take you to
realize it?

A large percentage of single people are trying to find that very special person to share their life with. In order to find that person how many dates (with different people) do you think you have to go on. Another way to say it is how many people of the opposite sex do you think you will meet before that "special" one comes along. 10, 20, 100, 1,000, 5,000 more?

I think it was three dates a week for 54 or so years. Probably off a bit but close enough.

Oooooooo. I love word problems. Ok. Let's see. If I go out on at least one date a week, then I will date 4 chicks a month. Being that at least two months out of the year have five weeks in them, let's say I average 5 chicks a month. So that is 60 a year. Now, let us also figure in booty calls into this equation too, which would be about 10 a month for me. Ok, so that gives us 120, plus the 60 dates, so that puts us at 180 for a year. Let's also throw in the ex's coming back for some love, so that will increase our number to a total of 200. Okay, so given all this, if I can't find that special someone within a year (200 chicks) then either I suck or I am just horny. laugh

Actually this is part of my thinking here, really a coffee date is no big deal. You could easily set limits of even 30 minutes during a lunch hour and even at one person per week eventually you may meet a few people you have an interest in.
This of course is for people wanting to meet someone. I know some people here are already involved in a relationship or just like to chat.

But do you really go into a coffee or lunch date telling them you must leave after 30 minutes?

Opps, yes you could of course make it much longer. I only get 30 minutes in my job. My thinking here is to at least meet the other person in "real time" before making a commitment to a date.flowerforyou
