People say that a lot about being 50's and over.

Is it true...are you SET in your ways of thinking, living and values?

I am pretty open minded about most things.
But there are some things I'd just as soon rather do or do without.

REally try not to be, when heard that when younger, decided was going to do my best not to get that way. It's a struggle sometimes to remain open minded and not fall into the well.

I agree. I tried not to as well, it is rather tough.
But, my sons keep me on my toes as far as being open-minded is concernedsmokin

flowerforyouHi Findme! I like to try new things and I still dream of the future...I am not too bad set in my ways. But if this were a yes or no question it would be yes! I have learned to live a certain lifestyle and I like it...a lot!

There might be a couple of things but for the most part I am always open to trying new things and meeting new people.. I refuse to let the world pass me by as long as I can walk..bigsmile I would be jumping out of airplanes but have had lower back surgery and was advised not to do that...oh well happy

I have a routine, but that being said, I'm always open to anything that's fun ... when I can't appreciate just being alive, it'll be time for my dirt nap

I think I am set in my ways as far as my value system. But in my views and way of living I am pretty open minded. I think my sons have seen to that.

Basically been set in my ways, since my teens.

Life is hard & I believe you have to have standards to get thru.

Compromise is poss., but only to a certain point; after that NO.

Hi Rose and all those posting here.

I am set in my ways in terms of what i want out of life but am very open minded when it comes to how to go about it. Every day is a new challenge for me. It keeps me young to look at things from different perspectives. I do have my set of values, however. I will do what ever it takes to just try to be a good person. I try to instill that in my students all the time.
