Honestly love has felt the same all my life. The older you get the more complicated love gets in my opinion.

Our life is based around sitcoms, they emulate everyday life in such extravagant ways it is hard to not want to be "like" them. Sad thing is...people actually try.

There has to be story-telling in order for people to make sense of life. Unfortunately, most of our story-teling (sitcoms, etc)is deceptive and doesn't actually help us make sense of life. Greek tragedies did, but Euripides and Aristophanes weren't trying to sell tampons and hair gel.

Love is a very layered emotion that can't be summed up in a few words, this is why it has been the subject of poems, plays, movies, and just life stories in general through out the ages. So to ask does age matter you would have to define the aspect of the situation it refers to. Do you mean mother for son, or father for daughter and so forth. But if your question is defined in terms of love interest well than where you are from your values and those in the society you were brought up in come into play. A hundred years ago in the wild west of good old USA 12 year olds were getting married and running their own farms but times were much harder than and people were forced to mature way faster than they do now, also due to the low mortality rate. So a 12 year old getting married and living like an adult in this era would be frowned at today because it is not the same.

Does age determine love

Love is defined by an individual, not everyone's definition of love matches, even though some believe it does. The definition of love changes with the individual's changes throughout life. You should try to make sure when entering into a relationship that you have similar ideas on the meaning of the word "LOVE".
