Is there anyone else there who feels this site is a scam? I get requests from people far outside my travel radius and age limits. The profile who do meet my specs are either deleted or not seen for over a month. My block list is far longer than my friend list and all and all I am NOT impressed with this service site.

I also feel there was one member who was comminicating with me that I felt was a stringer.....Paid by the site. I will NOT renew my regestration nor will I recomend it to friends.

It's not a scam. There may be some scammers on here. Post in the forums your going to make freinds that are too far away.

I've been on many, as the nature of online biz, you'll find scammers here and there, but the majority of people are real.

use your good judgement.

We are sorry that have ran into such a problem. This site works very hard to eliminate all scammers. Regardless it does happen they are able to filter through the system.

Anytime you feel that you have ran across a scammer please use our Abuse Report System to turn them in so Admin can check to see if they are and be able to deal with them in a fashionable manner.

As far as this site paying others to string members along. That is something this site is very much against. The services this site provides is for the enjoyment of the members not to cause them more headaches.... This site does not and will never promote scammers or others to string members along...

Hope this helps.

Mingle is not a scam! It's the best site - and I am not a "stringer".

Being a paid member to any site doesn't eliminate the fact that dating (whether it's online or in person) is difficult to find mutual interest and attraction. A site cannot guarantee you will find someone in your area or anywhere for that matter.

Join the forums to meet active members. Enjoy Mingle!

If you set up your email preferences correctly, messages outside your preset guidlines should not make it thru the sites filters.

Well, I just tried to send you an email, and it blocked me because im more than 50 miles from you, so the distance filter is working fine. Dennis

The whole online world is full of scammers. Just like real life. You just have to be careful.

Welcome, Jim. I would venture a guess that most male-to-female emails are not answered. It's just the nature of things. Success is possible on Mingle2, though, as the "Success" thread in the New Members forum hints at. Of course, you'll want to do all you can to maximize your chances (e.g., making sure you're relatively close by, the recipient is active, is looking for somebody in your age range, etc.).
