 I did. This morning.   At last .. <--- I found it after going thru 1000's of pictures in my folders all neatly defined around our lives.  It wasn't in there.  It was still in an email my daughter sent me from her camera .. SIGH. I can breathe again.     And how the heck is he sooooo much taller than me and 16????? (he's my 'baby'???? #5 out of 5 =) SO NOT FAIR!!!!

Glad you found it. It's a great photo. I've lost so many photos... Oh man that's a drag. My computer has crashed more than once and I've lost photos that I forgot to back up .. Never again. And I have 1000's hardcopy that I've yet to file .. lol |

Most of mine got lost in a flood and from moving. I lost some in a HDD failure too.

Most of mine got lost in a flood and from moving. I lost some in a HDD failure too. That really sux .. with all my kids and our memories I would be devastated. But then I know a friend of mine who lost every last thing she owned in a fire. Actually 2 friends.  Stuff is no big deal. Pictures are.

That's why I still use film. Computers crash, cds get scratched, memory sticks only work when you use them. I don't want to leave my happy moments to the whims of a computer.

I guess in all fairness though, I did have a dog eat the back half of one of my photo albums once. It took forever to go through the negatives and figure out which ones I was missing. Needless to say, the dog stayed outside for a long time before he got let in again.

That's why I threw him outside, so I could calm down and not kill him.

i did once it was a photo i needed to prove i did something and for some reason i finally found it 5 years later

I got that six year old hard drive to work and found some pictures I lost. I was so happy.
