I did not think, you could put a time limit, on love.

There are no 'This Is Love' and 'This Is Like' signs to tell you where the boundaries are ...

I actually believe that we should allow ourselves time to discern exactly what we are feeling. Lust is a powerful emotion. Also being on the rebound causes all kinds of "false" love feelings.

There is nothing wrong with taking it slow. Give it six months and see how things stand. By then if you are having a lust driven thing it will be dying down by then.

This just comes from me moving too fast in the past and ending up in a mess.

I now want to have a year at least under my belt of spending time together and interacting before we make any commitment.

I think it varies from one situation to the next....all I can tell you is I'm usually done after about 90 days.
