Two weeks ago Monday morning, I sat up until 3 a.m. rocking her while she died. Will never know what happened, but she did go peacefully. It was so sad, have hed her for 7 years.
 Has been hard to sleep, she would come in and play on the bed at night before I went to sleep and would sleep next to my back. It sure is quiet around here without the little critter.

Thank you. So true. She loved to chase the vacuum, it was her game. I had to move the vacuum out of the place I had it sitting so I wouldn't see it all the time. Hid it for now. Even the cat is missing her. They played their games, would chase each other. He keeps looking around now and then like he is expecting to see her come running by.

I am sorry for your loss.
I still miss my Great Pyrenees, George. What a gentle giant he was. The pain will lesson, but memories stay, and it's a good thing.

I know, she was a house dog and was always so excited to see me when I got home. It is really quiet in here now. Has been a real adjustment. She was always wanting to play.

So sorry for you're loss pets always give you unconditional love.My ex wife gave my 2 away while I was out of state working and never will forgive her for that.Loved them so much that's what started and finished my divorce.

aww thats is sad. once my x left the front door open and my bird flew out. I was so mad at him, cuz I told him his wings had not been cut. I cried so hard, he was my best friend and would sit on my shoulder and go everywhere with me. give kisses to me. . I know how you feel Good luck.

So sorry for you're loss pets always give you unconditional love.My ex wife gave my 2 away while I was out of state working and never will forgive her for that.Loved them so much that's what started and finished my divorce. So sorry to hear this -- I had 2 small dogs when I married my ex in 1970, he took them out and dumped them out on some road while I was at work one night -- never would tell me where so I couldn't go try to find them. It, too, helped seal the divorce. Some people can be such jerks.

I am also sorry for those of you who have had losses, I know how hard it is. I am in my 3rd week and still haven't touched the vacuum (but I live alone and I am not really messy, so it isn't really bad   ) but when I think about vacuuming I remember her running at the vacuum barking at it, sometimes with her stuffed elephant toy in her mouth. It was really cute. Take care, I need to get to work. Have a good weekend.

Im sooooo sorry I lost my Simba 3 years ago after having her 13 years and even though I have Cherokee, I still cry for her!!! Find the Rainbow Bridge poem, its beautiful and gives me great comfort!!! MY thoughts are with U!

Awww. Losing pets is always hard this!! You can never replace them, but usually getting another dog is the best thing to help you heal!!! I was so glad that Red was here when my heart dog, Onyx, died! Put an end to finding a home for little Red though-she helped me so much and earned her spot on my bed forever! |

I am really sorry to hear this, because I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet. She was as fortunate to have had you for 7 years as you were to have had her!

..... been there and still think about them... Said I would never get another one but now that I have Sassy I could not eve think what it would be like without her.....

Losing an animal is as hard as losing a person, sometimes harder. Animals never judge all they want if your affection and that's what they give in return. Sorry for your loss. |
