Is true love possible today?....in this millenium? Errrr...yes. Do parents fall instantly and madly in love with their new born? Do people who choose to share a lifetime together think anything else? The CONCEPT of true love is as varied and diverse as the words used to describe water..... if someone thinks they are...then they are.......at that moment in time. As to getting lucky after it..... wtf? more information please? And what does luck have to do with a feeling, an expression, an emotion? |

I would emphatically answer yes. I was there once, but I was young and dumb. I made so many immature mistakes, and I could have fixed it all in one fell swoop as a senior in high school. I never gave myself the chance....she and I had been child sweethearts since I was about 8. But this idiot went and threw it all away, much to his own regret. Right up into high school, we both thought we were going to marry each other....she was my best friend too.
 Thankfully, things are better now....unexpectedly much better.

Love is always possible!!1 Sometimes what you think is love is not really love at all but rather a stepping stone to a higher level of compatability with a man/woman. then ya know it..... it all burns together in the head...the gut...the heart...the loins and ya find it love

With the failure after failure that I'm sure each of us can see...I think we should focus less on love and more on getting to know each other. Save the grace of falling flat on our face 5 years into it and all.

It is possible and happens every day. But a real relationship does take work as the pressures of life come up. So if your lucky enough to have it, always try and see things from both points of view. Even true love can fall apart if just left to get stagnant.

I hope it happens to me yes I do belive there's someone out there in this ol world for me heck atlest I hope so girl good luck to all who belive their's someone out there! maybe at your local gas station,grocery store,home depot,marnards,Mc&don's,?? pls don't take these sites to serious JMO Koolaid

There comes a point and time in each of our lives that we have to admit that (deep down) we all want that Hollywood romantic film ending of a "Happily Ever After". People can front all they want. They can feel jaded. Feel as if no one can love them. Maybe they feel unworthy of love. Or maybe they feel they don't want to put all that effort into it and so they decide to be alone. Funny thing is, I believe that even when you decide to be alone, you yearn for having someone there.
True love is very possible. Why? Because a vast majority of us believe it is. I've seen it. My Uncle and Aunt, who have been married for over 50 years, told me this story of how (when they were young) used to go up to this spot on a mountain and would have a picnic, hold hands, kiss....and just be together. That place was special to them, and when they told me this story, as I sat there and looked at them both, I could see the love they had for one another was still strong...maybe even stronger than it was back then. Sound corny? Perhaps it does, and that is sad. We live in a world that truly does not know what it means to be in love. We used to. I firmly believe we did. But now? We have become a "Me" generation. |
