New.. to this site, singles scene.
I fail to understand why so many ladies want to post such pictures.. I want a man to find me attractive because of so many things other than just my body. Maybe there is some low self esteem.. I don't know. I of course want to feel sexy and wanted but feel that should be left in the intimacy of a couple. I feel that this takes away form a person to act this way in public. Please don't be insulted, I mean harm to any persons feelings. Maybe some response can shed some light... |

It always strikes me as a sort of subconscious "Well, this is all I've got to offer" mentality....
But you see the same thing with the guys and the shirtless "muscle" pics. Some people can't see past the physical. And if that's all they want, great. Some of us would like to find someone with a little more to work with intellectually, though.... And, as an afterthought -- a lot of the women who post the provocative pics are the ones who complain the loudest when they get 100,000 messages saying "nice boobs" -- you just can't please some people....! |

The Guys like them, and send those girls lots of e-mails. Then the girls get mad because the guys think she is easy, and is maybe looking for quick hook-up.
The girl then posts a thread complaining about how all the men online are just looking to get laid, the guys complain that the women here are unapproachable, stuck up and just want a man with money and super good looks. This is the internet dating scene in a nutshell. |

Hi and welcome,
as already said, the best thing to do here is post in the forums, LOTS! You will get to know us and us you. That is the best way to not only have a lot of fun here but to maybe meet someone. Ignore the pics, ignore the bores, just get into the forums and have some fun. I for one, like the provocative and sexy pix. They are fun to look at first off. Secondly it shows a level of confidence that the ones who are ashamed of thier bodies just don't have. Third..sexy SELLS! If I was gonna try to get some attention from a herd of people, I would put my stuff right out there and then see who can actually carry a conversation past my boobs and favorite sexual position (trying to see this from a female standpoint)...
yes...we all want someone we can talk to and connect with on a spiritual level.....I prefer that spiritual connection with someone who knows they are sexy and aint afraid to flaunt what they got. Just cause a chick don't own a pair of heels and wears baggy jeans and sweatshirts doesnt make her more down to earth...it just means she doesnt care that she is percieved as plain. I know...beauty is on the inside.....BS!!!! Ugly is on the inside too. I see women everyday who could be stunning.....if only they applied themselves instead of settling for plain jane. This will be where that crap about "focusing on looks is shallow" gets thrown onto the table. My opinion is: that expecting people to like the fact that someone wont even try to look better for a potential mate is just lazy. |
