If I do that then I'll imagine an over populated world. Finite resources running lower. Food quality going down. Deforestation. species becoming extinct because man moves into their area and builds. High crime rate in certain areas. More Gangs. More homeless. Not enough jobs. Oh wait. I think we are already close to this point already.

the world would fall into a state of decay and all emotions would be forgotten because eventually none of it would matter anymore...knowing you have a limited time on earth is what compels you to live, experience and contribute to life..without that participation there is no life...only existence.

Picture a world full of starvation, massive overpopulation, and a deterioration of civilization...

Eventually the world will fill with people where it would be a mass of humanity from sea to shining sea! Humans would push out all other forms of life eventually if there were no death!

I saw that world on an episode of the original Star Trek series. It wasn't pretty.

Ocean of human being having no emotion!Dreadful. Because of this time limit, life is so valuable,so beautiful.

Changing my position...

If I stay young forever while you old farts come and go...it will be cool. Cause I would still grasp the concept of immortality/mortality and I could legitimately bang your moms/daughters/grand ma's AND your grand daughters

Go ahead and pencil me into the Immortal column and ask your mom what she has going on teusday night.

I likewise have contemplated immortality and here is the problem as I see it.

AS an immortal you will not change nor will you succeed in adapting eventually to changes in the environment. Likewise as generations pass mankind will continue to change so while for a few thousand years it may be fun banging women eventually humanity will change enough to not recognize you as a human.

Example. Imagine being a Trododon or Velociraptor (Deninonychus) and you accidentally stumbled on a radioactive meteor and its radiation granted you immortality. Things go great for you after about 100,000 years and Trododons or whatever you are never change and suddenly BANG and everything you know is gone. Now MILLIONS of years go by and your only friends are what you eat since Immortality may not buy you out of basic physical needs. AS time passes creatures just as intelligent evolve but are NOTHING like you. You would be a god first, then a science experiment next, and if you survive that you will become a curiosity and an enigma but what would you have in common with the new life at all let alone sexual compatibility issues. Granted some humans will screw ANYTHING or try to do anything at least once but frankly I cannot see a Trododon and a Chimpanzee getting along let alone it getting along with an Ostrich which would be the only thing close to what it is physically (well birds in general). I could not see a Trododon relieving itself on a goose either. The differences are just too great. Bear in mind I chose intelligent dinosaurs since an immortal T Rex would just eat anything it seen anyways and not be too concerned about anything else except for its breeding seasons and it would just be VERY angry and VERY unfulfilled.

There is also the possibility Immortality may have other costs like fertility or a massively increased need to eat. Face it, if we had access to god like Immortality we would not be subject to physical need and sex probably would be forgotten since you would be above the needs of the flesh.

On top of that imagine crossing paths with other immortals. I doubt it would go well.

I would settle for head.
