I live in San Diego, by way of Atlantic City ,New Jersey and the Marine Corps.

I have been to the Phillipines and the Carribean area as well as the Far East.

I keep saying I want to leave San Diego, but the weather here keeps me here. I hate snow ,cold and all of that.

I travel to many places , but my favorite place was the Phillipines. If I could afford to live in San Francisco, I would, but I can't.

I also like small towns, like Modesto, Ca, Mereced, Ca and Fresno, Ca.

I live in Portland Oregon. The great Pacific Northwest. I like it here because the air is clean, the water is drinkable and its not too crowded. I grew up in southern California..smog...foul water..and overcrowded.

Mountains all around and the beach to the west. Its always green.

It rains and rains and rains I love it. As a matter of fact its raining right now...

Why Nampa Id? I drive through there on my way to Boise to visit my daughter and my new grandson...he's a cutie.

Why Nampa? Because I met the most wonderful man on this site close to four years ago and he asked me to marry him. Idaho is soooo much cheaper to live in compared to NY and I love the feel and peacefulness of it.

Eileen, I hope you get to move soon because I'm going to come see you and Jon when I come to Id to visit my brother.. He's up north but I'm always open for a road trip!

You are more than welcome, Carole... I am looking forward to it!!

Aggieland...just a few hours from Houston, Austin, D-FW and not too far from home. Sucks driving through town with all the undergrads that text while driving, but I don't have to very often and LOVE where I live here (100 acres on the Brazos river with ~20 ponies)!

I really don't ever wanna leave Texas, but could settle with living many places in the state.

San Mateo, Rizal Philippines. The mountainous side of Rizal.
My home is a good an hour drive from work but I like it here because of the clean air and surroundings which is just great for my young kids and my old parents.

A pretty laid back place but nowhere else I'd like to raise my children until they have to move to the city for college.

Live in a Border Town by Houlton, Maine

Wonderful Mountain, River valley scenic view.

We have the full 4 seasons as they are meant to be.
Rainy Spring, Comfortable Summers, Cool refreshing Fall, Lots of Snow in Winter. laugh

There are no industries here so no pollution, just enough jobs to keep people off the streets.

As much as I like the area, been here for 20 years, family has moved on, now it's my turn......drinker

It's very expensive to live here as we are on the coast but there's a popular university, considered "Little Hollywood", big enough for opportunities but still small enough to feel as though we know most people, crazy weather around the turns of season but mostly warm. I can't imagine living away from the coast. In NC, you're not far from the coast or the mountains.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I love Alberta, drive an hour in any direction and the landscape is completely different. Semi-arid desert to the south (complete with rattlesnakes), mountains to the west (world-class skiing), badlands in the middle, arctic tundra to the north. Winter tends to get cold, but where I am there is usually a chinook or two to break it up a bit. I'd love to visit around the world, but there is no where else I'd rather be.
