Do you feel you are the same online as you are in person? Or do you act differently here than you would when meeting people in person? If so, why?

Do you let people's personalities in the forums affect the way you think of them?

Interesting question. In the forums I'm openly bi, that makes a bit of difference in my responses. (The people here are so non-judgmental about that!) I also jump right into the conversations (like this one). I hope that most of the people's personalities are the same, most of you folks are a stitch!!

I am an absolute doppelganger for me :-)
I listen more in person, as I rarely learn
anything while talking.

Personality deeply affects the way
I think of someone. The stronger, more unique
it is, the closer I am drawn.
No clones need apply :-)

A great quote by Abraham Lincoln is "All of us are born originals; sadly, many of us die as copies."

Shiki is a bonafide original. This is how I am in real life. I think it is important to be authentic, for that is what makes someone Shikerrific.

Some minglers I met in real life said I as the exact same as on here. There certainly hasn't been any effort on my part to pretend other than the obvious comments for fun.

Yes, of course we judge people by the personalities they portray.

I am the same all the time - opinionated and sassy! with mannerslaugh

yes I am pretty much the same. It also took me just as long to open up & start talking to people here as it does IRL where I am very very shy...at first, especially with men

I need to just stay in one place for awhileflowerforyou because it takes me so long to get to know people

All the people I've met from here were pretty much like I thought they'd be based on what they were like in the forums.

Still...yep a bit little.

I dare better online than in person, perticularly with ladies.
In real life I prefer staying away from these emotional creatures:wink:

Do you let people's personalities in the forums affect the way you think of them?

Yup,his/her behavior gives me direction,if needed to think about!

Sometimes, someone's personality in the forums will make me not want to put in the effort of getting to know them. Though, once in a while, chatting with them outside of the forums can change the way I see them.
