I don't have time for few hours to have date chat sessions, I feel bad for people who rather not see the person for very long time and just rather spend all night doing chat/ date thing. Woman need to be flexible like the guys, For me i like just little chat sorta when ever i can have time but my job only time i get computer coz i dont have internet connection. So my best thing to do is email for while and get hold of person though phone and after least week or 2 and finally meet.. Thats all we'll sorta should be anyways..

Humm lets see wow I have learned so much in the last four years. At times the stories I have read brought tears to my eyes from all the hardships others have endured as well as accomplished. I've learned more about abusive relationships then I ever care to know about... Myself I have never been in that type of situation and was blown away to learn about what some have endured.

I've learned for some LDR's can work out and flourish and realized how far some will go to make things work.

I have learned that friends are not only those you go places with but as well as those you talk to online every day....bigsmile

I've gained friendships beyond what I thought one could....whoa

Last but not least I've learned that I do in fact have a great life, might not be perfect at times but I'm better off then others at times.smile2

Sure...Mingle has brought me great friends...quite a few that I have actually hung out with. It has also brought me a wonderful b!tch whom I love very much. I have actually corresponded with the site owner....Sigh...I miss the gut wrenching fear of Charles in my "In" box explaining why I was being suspended.

But, what has Mingle done for me LATELY?!??!?!?!

I wouldn't trade any of my mingle experiences for anything....
the good, the bad and the ugly. It's all been well...an adventure!

And the friends I have here, they are my heart.

I have grown up a lot because of this site. The people and experiences here have been invaluable in making me a better and more responsible person. And, like everyone else here, I have made a few wonderful friends.

The effect seems almost exponential. I dated a fantastic woman who came to San Diego several times to visit (and still does). I became very fond of her entire family and she fell in love with the city.

Now, even though the relationship has cooled, her daughter is going to art school in San Diego...and doing very exciting things. I cheer them all on and think of how a few midnight keystrokes from a (then) stranger, shifted the direction of so many lives.

This site did not change me much. I am still your usual, run-of-the-mill, angry and anxious short little man. It comes across as being an arrogant, boorish, non-empathic fat middle-age cinical and morose male.

Mingle2 did change me, somewhat, though, to be fully honest. I am a shade less arrogant. I don't know how you guys (gents and ladies on this forum) achieved this, but kudos to you, and I thank you for it. A half a dozen psychiatrists have been unable to accomplish with decades of therapy what you guys did in two short years.
