What do you do on your weekends? Do you have a summer routine of cooking out and swimming? That's what I do, what do you do?

A dip in the pool about every hour then chill with some music while checking out mingle sounds like a great plan to me.

My weekends in the summer are about the same as the winter....except outside instead of inside and I try to stay cool instead of hot :-) But grilling and swimming at the lake isn't a bad plan.

Every day is the same for me. Get up around noonish and go to work if I feel like it or have nothing better to do. If the weather is half decent....... maybe take the bike out and see where I end up.........

Fish, drink, swim, anything else that sounds like fun.

Just depends on the weekend. Tonight, I went out with friends for happy hour and just got back a little bit ago.

I will probably see family tomorrow.

Not sure yet about Sunday.

I tend to stick around town on the weekend if I can and spend time with friends and neighbors.

This weekend, a quiet day today, much reading. Tomorrow, over at a friend's for an all-gal's get-together for a couple of hours. In and out of the pool the whole weekend.

Last weekend, was mostly quiet, though I washed the horses on Sunday.

My weekends are never consistent.

Love your horses Equus, esp the one on our right, your left, with the white strip, so beautiful.

Well during the summer, i have a lot planned...For weekends, I mostly will be working, but i work at the beach so it's a lot of fun.

I usually spend three days a week, either swimming in a pool ocean or lake. Kayaking, bodyboarding, teaching the kids how to surf..

the other days, i call down time, where neighborhood kids take over. We live on the corner so we get the big yard...(and coolest mom-jk) so most kids cruise over her and play while I watch tv or write books, or hang out on mingle....woohoo.

Thanks! He'll (Gentry) be 3 on Monday. And I was very pleased with him, considering he didn't get a whole lot of teaching for basics, much less baths. Some wiggling and fussing, but overall, he did good for his bath.

Chance enjoys his baths, and comes up daily for a hose-down in this heat.

Oh he's a baby...so gorgeous. We live in a big city, but we have some great stables right up the street..next to "our central park" it also has horse trails and stuff. They let me walk through with my daughters and pet the horses a lot. they rescue horses and also house a lot of privately owned horses from our neighborhoods as well. We love going in there...its really good therapy for us since my divorce...

Sounds like a wonderful place, and I definitely agree with horse therapy! Chance was my rock when I broke up with the screwy ex. Helped me work through a lot of the emotions. The other animals did too, but he was the biggest help.

yeah, we have a white horse over there, she was a rescue horse, but her name is sugar, we spend a lot of time with her since she is an orphan-so to speak....I tell the kids sometimes in life, we get to start things all over, Just like Sugar probably once had a family and started over, we are starting over as a new family too. We get to ride them and pet them and talk with them. It has been really good for me and all three kids....My daughter got thrown from a horse last friday night for the first time. That was crazy--like I was watching in slow motion or something. Her arm hurt for a couple days but she is fine now. One of the women there who rides often was very kind and told her to get back up on that horse and show her who's boss. She didnt but she says she still wants to go back and ride, so that is a good sign.

pretty cool read guys

I had a place in Ohio where my property was next to a horse trail and stables. When I was home (traveled a lot) we use to go out almost every night and have a camp fire. Camp fire, guitar and horses. A good time.

thanks for painting a great picture
