While driving today and listening to my radio,,I had it set to K-LOVE for some soft Christian Music,,a song came on called, Save A Place For Me.

As I started hearing the lyrics,,I soon had to pull off to the side.
Wiping my eyes from my tears,,as it just hit me bad..
I thought of Caylee,,and of still another child's death, the eight year old girl in Westfield,IL..who I had heard about this Monday morning on the news there...her name was, Alexus Smothers,,,and her Mother is accused now, of her death...

People ask sometimes,,where a writer gets their motives to write about something,,or someone,,what inspired you?

THIS has made me sick,,all week,I have three kids,,and many grand kids.
No child should ever be murdered,,,its just not even HUMAN to THINK IT!

Mother's KILLING THEIR KIDS and these our just two of so MANY who have been murdered....THIS HAS TO STOP, PLEASE GOD,,HEAR OUR PRAYERS..




Although I never had the chance to meet you, or you to have met me.
I would have loved to have met you, and give you, a great big hug.
Your face is so pretty, and your smiles are really something to see.
We could have played together, just like to bugs-in-a-rug.
I could have gave you a good home, where you'd never be alone,
Each day we could have shared, all the love we felt inside.
When I'd go to work, and you on to school, you could call me on your phone
You could have became my little girl, and to me you could confide.
All the things that bothered you, or made you feel sad, inside.
You could have grown into a beautiful young lady.
Who could have changed the world with your amazing ability.
But we shall never get that chance to see.
For God has taken you with Him to be.

May her soul rest in the Kingdom of heaven. iam4u, as much as these sick stories about parents killing their kids I am inspired by those who stand up and does something about this horrible issue. I can also say the world hasn't lost it soul because there are people such as you who inspire others to stand as well. Your grandson will be a strong voice because of you. Remember that.

Man,,I just find REAL-LIFE so over-powerful,,when IT CONFLICTS with the welfare of a child...We read about it,,,and then joke with our better-half's about a more enjoyable story in the news????WHY IS THAT?

I know THATS what my ex did,,and then I would read the news and ask or just start reading that story out-lud to her,,,nd she would stop me and say,,,OH,,yeah,,I read that,,so arful,,,,,,,,,,,
Then we would talk a little more and I'd feel her calm like o'well?
AS I was stillventing about it to her,,,she grew toknow THEN,,tobring out the bad stories of that same,tome,,,as she knew how much that bothered me,,and I wanted to be,,with all that had happen to them,,as we had three children in this world to raise back then..

My kids know me,,and through me they now love,,and how to know and feel,real pains that someone else is experiencing..
SO,,they have THAT HEART,,and I am SURE it will be passed through to all my Grand children's lives..

BUT THIS IS GETTING TO BE TO MUCH TO HAVE HERE IN OUR LIVES TO BARE AND WITNESS....PEOPLE,,well,,PARENTS need to get a GRP on what their doing in lif,,and IF they can't handle raising their kids,,HEY,,LET THEM BE WITH SOMEONE WHO CAN,,,DON'T KILL THEM IN YOUR ANGER AND RAGE..
Get some help and getcontrol of YOU,,,before any damages come to your children,,,SORRY Mig,,,hoping to make a parent who might be close to being abusive,,,STOP and see they wrongs,,before they hurt again.

IF everyone could just watch over your neighborhood kids,,see and hear how their treated,,and IF you suspect their being ABUSED,,DAMN IT call the cops or child family services to check them out?
Its NOT an issue of LOSING A NEIGHBORS FRIENDSHIP,,its SAVING A CHILDS LIFE AND MENTALLITY.

People will read me here, and THIS,,and think,,,oh poor Terry,he' so wraped up in his mind over other peoples stuff,,,when will HE LEARN that HE CAN'T SAVE THE WORLD?

I'm sorry my friends,,,as this won't reach the world,,and I talk sometimes like it does,,I just am getting to the point where I feel we have failed as a PEOPLE to protect the weak and our young,,,as each new day takes me to a new city or town,,I watch out for the kids I do see there and their always on my mind,,because their always on the side walks or playing near my roadway,,,AND,,because of these sweet childrens lives being needlessly stolen from them... My family has always taken in stray animals, nursed them back to health and found homes for them. Some we kept.

When my oldest kids were teens, we lived in this very small town in Kentucky. They brought friends home of course, but the weekends were always the busiest. One Summer evening, my 13 yo daughter came to me and said, "Mom, I just made a friend. Her name is Jessie, and I found her sleeping in the old greenhouse next door. Can she spend the weekend?"

That began YEARS of "adopted" kids ... seems that a lot of families here wait until their kids are 12 or so and either bring them along to party with them, or dump them off in town on the weekends to find a place to crash while they (parents) go off to party. I was the "invisible" child at home and could never stand to see an unwanted child.

My door was never locked; I could wake up any morning and find some young person "camped out" on my living room floor. The first timers were told "We don't care where you came from or what you've done before. Everyone is welcome here." One weekend, we had 21 kids here, including my own. They never gave me a bit of trouble; always followed the house rules, always respectful. They all acted as they were expected to by me and most just wanted an adult who cared how they were and what they were doing. 20 years later, some of them still call me "Mom". Sadly, it's different today ... but those were some of the best years of my life.

We just CAN'T EVER look at a childs death,,as NORMAL TO HAVE BEEN KILLED,,,NO,,I WILL SPEAK STAND YELL SCREAM,,,THIS I SHALL NEVER EXCEPT AS EVERYDAY READING THE NEWS,,
Kill each other,,rod banks,,do dugs,,go get drunk,,but NO MORE KIDS KILLED.
