Anyway, back on topic. I've never heard a good reason for cheating. Just excuses.

Generalizing here...
I think men cheat when their partner isn't enjoying sex anymore.
It is important to a guy that we enjoy their manliness.
I think women cheat out of revenge and when they are not feeling the intimacy.
Obviously something is missing in the relationship or it wouldn't happen so much. But not always, some people just cheat cause they can and they don't see it as cheating.

Yeah, but it's all just excuses. If someone is even considering cheating, something is wrong with the relationship. It's either time to try and fix it, or end the relationship.

By this, I never said women cheat because they are sexually superior
or that men cheat because they are socially superior. Not at all.
Example:
It's a fact that men generally have an easier time putting differences aside in a social setting. A woman, "generally" could never be in a social setting with someone they despise for long.(Mens social superiority)

Example:
A woman is receptive or not... to a mans advances.
A Man is always receptive... in one way or another to a woman.
(Womens sexual superiority)

Why do people cheat?

Because

1. There are no consequences to deter them
2. The consequences are not as bad as the 'thrill/fulfillment' is good.

3. There is no consistency in the consequences.
4. Their patners dont demand more or expect more for themself.

5. Because they can.

6. Because we live in a culture where people are brainwashed to believe sex is a 'must have', so we much more easily overlook/excuse peoples choices to be sexually fulfilled.

I have always wanted to say that..

I believe people who cheat are selfish. No regards for anyone feelings but their own. Any excuse used, it's still an act of being selfish.

There is never a good reason or any reason acceptable, in my opinion.

When a person has no self respect how can they respect others, much less the relationships that should matter the most to them of their partner whom they are involved with.
