My long ago starter wife was 4 years younger and my long time second wife who actually gell apart physcially - we didn't have a drama thing - ws 8 years younger.

And I am still surviving. Should the next wife be 12 or 16 years younger? Thinking what mathematical progression the universe has in mind.

I know of someone who married a woman almost 20 years his junior. That was OK when she was in her 30' and he in his 50's. It was extremely flattering to him.

But when she was in his 50's and he in his 70's, she saw him as a stupid, incompetent fool and couldn't stand his slowness. He became quite abused at that point and died early after she threw him in an old folks' home after getting him to sign his will over to her completely. He was her third husband.

Neurological tests were never found in his records after death, so how that happened, no one will ever know.

Nothing wrong about this. Some younger ladies like to meet and mate older men because of experience and patience.

Is it wrong for older men(50&up) to want to date or mate with
younger women.(30's or so)

Who is the judge and what is the virdict.

Maybe the question should be is it wrong for younger women to date and mate older men.

whats your thoughts?

The Virgin Mary was around fourteen when she gave birth to Little Jesus, and her husband, Joseph, was beyond the prime of his life, he was nearing sixty.

So from a Roman Catholic viewpoint, or from a religious orthodox Jewish point of view, there is nothing wrong with what you ask us to grant you permission and our moral blessings for you to do.

Legally there may be some problems that can crop up. Consult the legal authorities in your jurisdiction if there indeed exists an upper age limit for women below which it is not allowed to be friends with them.

Can you set me up with this woman? I seem to have run out of options for mating altogether.

If she asks, tell her I have too much money. I hope God forgives me for lying in this situation.

When I was 26 I dated a guy who was 42. It was great, because he knew how to treat a woman. Sadly, he wanted to get married and I didn't. I think he wanted a 'mom' for his 12 and 15 yr olds. When I was 36 I saw him again. He told me he would toss his wife aside if I wanted to get back with him. frustrated That told me everything I wanted to know about him.

I think 12 years or even 15 is not a real big difference in age. I know a man that is 55 and dating a 24 year old but he seems happy with the younger gals and that is all that counts.

Just my opinion; as we get older, age doesn't matter as much. We prob. aren't thinking about having children, our relationships are more about GREAT companionship & trust. "LOVE" is a lesser thing.

At 33 I married a man 26 years older because men my age were couch potatoes and he could keep up with me running and outdoors, etc. ... we raised 2 daughters ... and marriage lasted 16 years ... but it was harder when he hit 70s and started accelerated aging ...

Now, the reverse age question is valid, women dating younger men. No I'm hot hijacking this conversation, just pointing out that "cougar" dating is becoming more popular for older women with younger men.tongue2

Cougars...arm candy.. al this has been going on since the dawn of time. Like everything else, for some reason we need to advertise & pass judgement on what other people do,now. I think, your business is yours & my business is mine. What works for me, prob. won't work for you. NO PROBLEM. I wish all the happiness in the world for everyone, just DON'T walk on my toes or judge me, PLEASE.

accepted ratio is half plus eight.

64/2=32+8=40.

So check around that age.
