Knowing a crime is being committed and doing nothing about it is a CRIME.

I don't get this. Obama's uncle checked in with the President to let him know that he was going to be drunk driving, and the President did nothing about it? Is that what you're saying?

Drunk Driving is a Misd. Being illegal is a Felony, Obama knew about his uncle being illegal which is a more serious offence(according to the law) then drunk driving and that is what they BOTH should be held accountable for.

At the very least Obama should lose his license to practice law since ANY other lawyer in the same situation would lose theirs.

lol., I think the connection was with the 'alleged' immigrant status of his uncle, which the authorities who ISSUED Such status are already aware of...lol

and then theres the assumption that since they are 'related' , OBama does(or should) keep tabs on the wherabouts and activities of his uncle from out of the oval office in Washington enough to 'know' that he is here illegally and DEMAND the immigration expedite their process to remove him,,,,

Yup it is so funny when someone breaks the law isn't it? It's so funny that they are in this country illegally(whice is a crime) committing other DANGEROUS crimes putting peoples lives at risk. That is just so laugh out loud funny. whoa

And you know this . . . how? Why isn't the Teabagger Congress initiating impeachment proceedings, or calling for the bar association to yank his license? Could it be that they know a little more than you?

That does happen. Have you heard of a presidential pardon? Favoritism does happen when politics are concerned. That doesn't make it right but that also doesn't mean it doesn't happen. What about diplomatic immunity? Some people can't even be charged with a crime.

apples and oranges, PARDONS are a part of the PRESIDENTS assigned privileges

decisions on individual immigrations are not

PARDONS happen AFTER the Judge has made their decision, while a person is on death row awaiting execution

I Have not heard of a president overturning or interfering with an immigrants deportation or retention AFTER or BEFORE immigration comes to its independent decision

we have a process and that includes specific departments doint specific things, that process doesnt include the president making personal/independent decisions in individual immigration cases...

DIPLOMATIC immunity is also a privilege that is on the books

there isnt any privilege assigned to a President in Immigration cases, the most that can be done is for there to be a committee or board assigned to review immigration decisions,

What could happen and whats 'constitutional' are not the same thing. IF a PResident were to interfere with the immigration process he better be able to show where it was a matter of national security or life and death,,, something other than that it was a distant relative

Yea in an ideal society. We don't live in an ideal society. If we did we wouldn't have millions of illegal immigrants. The more famous someone is the less likely people prosecute them for crimes. (same for famous relatives) Its like is someone vandalizes your home (break a window, tp whatever) you might call the cops. If you find out its your friends children or even your childrens friends you most likely wont call the authorities.

whats funny is not the uncles 'alleged' crime and all the assumptions which lead to it, its the lame attempts to make his distant nephew responsible for it

clearly, few here have gone through the immigration process, but orders can be appealed, deporation is rarely IMMEDIATE , there is a date given so the order can be appealed(and the appelant may remain during that time)

all these assumptions from a sentence stating there was a 'previous' order, are off the chain,,,lol

its also hilarious the ASSUMPTION that the president is or should be personally inquiring with immigration as to the status of his distant uncle or that he MUST know his uncles status merely because they are biologically related,,lol

I dont even know if my grown cousins have drivers licenses to operate their vehicles, and why would I Take effort to find out?

so the immigration office issues a notice to leave by whatever date and OBAMA is supposed to have the details of what that requirement was and whether his (distant)uncle is following it? amazing,,,
