men who write compliments about themselves in their titles like really unclever non-specific non-descriptive obvious ones........

I expect women to do it because it's flirty but from men, it's weird...

And they usually are scammers.....

does anyone else think that??? hmmmm

I tend to look for such details in the profile, not the title,,

but subtle compliments in a title dont bother me,, blatantly sexual or suggestive names are a turn off though,,

Well me being me I respect and value everyone's opinions and feel they are full entitled to them as long as they are not criminal and I think they world would be a very boring place if we all agreed on everything all the time and no one would ever grow.

OH and I didn't mean title title I meant name we used to call them handles.

I have noticed that a lot of the (girl) scammers tend to use screen names that include words like "sexy" or "hot" or "needu" and such. It's pretty much a dead giveaway at this point.

As for profile headline language, it always makes me wonder when someone describes themselves as "gorgeous" or "beautiful" or "attractive," as I consider that to be something that I, as the ostensibly unbiased observer, should have the right to judge for myself.

In general, I find that people who describe themselves that way are almost never people I actually perceive as fitting those self-inflicted descriptions. But my standards may be a little different.

Typing about sex/sexual preferences is a big turn off for me.

Why do some guys think this is a way to endear me to them. Is it used as a test? Or are they just chatting to me to relieve their boredom?

It really grinds my gears!!!

sometimes people follow the forums though, and they may be trying to appeal to what WE put out in the forums

so if we put out that sex is a priority, it may lead to some focusing on that when they respond to us,,,
