Make carmel corn, popcorn balls, or
bake or buy pre-made cookies and decorate with frosting, nutella, or cream cheeze or peanut butter add sprikles and take them to some helping professional that is you special angel. Perhaps it is the staff at your pediatrians office, the fire department, your children's teachers, the crossing guards, or the last minute babysitter that you can always depend on.

That is a great idea. In our case, the poor people at the pharmacy are the ones who I'd be going to. They know me when I walk in cause Christopher has been on so many medications over years. His teachers, the bus driver and the aide on the bus get lots of goodies from us at Christmas. With all his behavior issues and his seizures, they sure have their hands full and I am so thankful they are all good with him.

In one of the major metorpolitan areas I once lived were trying to come up with creative ideas of how to prevent teen pregnancy and fund a crisis nurshery holiday needs.

So they had a big all night party at one of the churches and walked the young teens to a nearby shopping center to do a treasure hunt priceing the various things needed in an infants first year of life.

Hunters had to tell the groupe what the things were and often how to use them. Dividing the teens in teams they had extensive lists and some funds to purchase donations. The first team getting the prices and products for the hunt won prizes and presentation rights at the nurshery.

What really made it an Eye opening project was when pregnant teens told the hunters what they often did with out as parents.

Oh no! Hi gang. I posted a card on here (I do on-line cards) and some thought I was doing the exchange. I'm away for the remainder of the month starting in about 2 hours. Again I don't mail out cards I do them on-line. Sorry, sounds like you guys are having fun though.

I'm hoping that I'll have a computer when I get to Chicago but I'll be in the studio most of the time. Everyone have a great and safe holiday season if I miss out on the fun.

I didn't exchange addresses with some of you that I had from seasons past because I figured I still had your info......Then I started to panic!!! I couldn't find my list!!!

I've kept addresses over the years as well. I know some are different, so I just sent to everyone in this thread as well as some other addresses I had.

I will send CHRISTmas cards to anyone who wishes. As a Jew, I do send religious cards though as I believe it is the Christian Messiah's birthday so that is the kind of card I sent. I also generally include a note to everyone about the year and a black and white pic or two of the kids (meaning Darcy the accidental Min Pin and Vinnie the 18 pound cat). I make the copies at Fed Ex Kinkos so the pics aren't always so great. LOL. I did not get around to Chanukah or Kwaansa (sp) cards this year but I have my Christmas cards ready for when I get home.
