What shows your belief? I here all the time works is of the law. The OT is old. We live in a new age. What makes you different that shows what you believe in and why?

different than what?

Im not sure about the different part, but I believe actions speak louder than words,

ID rather have the person who shows me love everyday but never says it , than one who never shows it but always says it,,,,for instance


what I belive is reflected in the choices I make in action and words and how I treat others,,,,

I believe the Old and New Testaments work and go hand in hand. The OT dwelt mostly on dos and don'ts and basically fashioned especially during the Mosaic era,after the hardness of our hearts...however the OT is still replete with assurances of God's Love and power,glory...available to all and sundry...However, the NT is a whole lot,Gods Word Personified,teaching and admonishing,while not jettisioning or abolishing the OT, the true essence of what God is all about,stands for to us relationship,communion,forgiveness and learning to forgive,second chance while not throwing stones,peace even at provocation,..and above all Love,for oneanother. My belief.

In the OT men were under the Law, AD we are under grace, God gave his son, Jesus to die for Us, because he Loves Us. Jesus is the fullfilling of the Law. If we have Faith, in Jesus as our Savior, then "Works" will follow. First comes Faith.

I live my faith, that shows my belief.

Your faith and works if you have faith in your believe then there must be works to show your believe. In other words your actions,your conduct and gerenal life sytle must reflect your believes. Jesus said if you love me keep my commandment and obey it so if you believe in Jesus and you don't obey his commandment then believe is not real.

Actions do speak louder than words. Some can talk some good bs, but never back it up...Lots of solid actions and a few words that are in sync, seems to fit my style anyway.
