I will note up front that I honestly don't have very many photos of myself handy. I do plan to add more as I go along, but I just need to have someone take them first. ;o)
Other than that possible issue, does my profile seem likely to appeal to an educated, intellectual, somewhat-geeky middle-aged guy with a sense of humor? Because that's what I'm looking for. |

Okay, I have to ask... is my joke about having to "polish the cat" too obscure? I mean, it's just meant as an activity that doesn't exist but I'd rather be doing something other than spending all day watching football.
Some guy absolutely didn't get it, and then kept bugging me to explain it. Well, he was bugging me in other ways and I finally blocked him because he wouldn't take "No, I don't want to date you" for an answer, but now I wonder if what I thought was humorous is too far off the wall? I know I have a weird sense of humor. |

In the upscale restaurants that were on planet Melmac, "polished cat" was a high-priced menu item. |

But when I first read it, it sounded like you were cleaning house and missed a spot ("stand still, kitty!") Maybe that's just your style of humor. Nothing wrong with that. Concise? No. That's a lot of profile text, but at least you put that summary at the top. Overall, it works. If we weren't 2800 miles apart, I'd like to watch a hockey game with you. Good luck! |

I still need to add more but this one is from something that's one of my major hobbies (I do theater and also historical reenactment). What do you think? should it stay or go? Also, thus far it's the only one in which I'm wearing my glasses. Good or bad? Thanks in advance!
