I have to say that I had just met someone that I was really interested in and he just stopped all communication and I don't know why. I must have said something I wish I knew what?? I was ready to move and pack up and well never mind.People are strange. If your not sure then you shouldn't get the other person all up and about thinking there is something when there is not. Don't you just hate that?Well God Bless him anyways I hope he does well in his search.I am new here and would like to make friends with anyone that would like to.Thank You!

Basically ... yes. You meet someone and become overwhelmed with attraction. As you get to know them, everything grows or withers but if it continues to grow it meets the definition of "love at first sight".

If it happens too often then there is something immature about you.

Yes, I do! It's happened to me twice. It may not be the smartest thing, looking back, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I just hope I am able to go with that feeling with as much abandon and enthusiasm as I did when I was younger. Who wouldn't want another great love affair before it's too late?

I believe in attraction at first site. That certain kind of chemistry that just seems to manifest. It is a nice, warm and sometimes even comfortable feeling.

Actually, I think with guys, its lust at first sight, not love.

There has to be mutual respect of each other, respect of oneself and if a guy truly respects the woman, no sex until they marry.

There has to be getting to know each other building up trust, mutual respect, honest and open communication, integrity and courtesy toward each other.

If there are any issues, talk about them to resolve the issue.

If people can't do this and get on with each other... move on.

I don't believe in having affairs at all, there is no respect in that.

Enjoy your evening.
Blessings
Christef

I have to agree with Holly. It can happen but less likely the older we get.

Why, you ask?

Unfortunately, as we age men and women develop less and less trust in the opposite sex so our hearts aren't open to it.

I agree, except for the first line. Gals fall in lust just fine. Of course, some men are irresistable, hey, hey. But it's up to each of us to put on the brakes, enjoy the magic moment, but not spoil it too soon. Good points. Thanks.

I know, because this happened with me also. She has always been the love of my life and when she died it was like a part of me died. They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. I can't forget her for my entire life

LOVE at first site? no....infatuation, attraction, some cosmic pull towards a person....yes...love takes time.
