America were to the forefront in Framing International Law within the UN but wars of Agression seem to have pushed respect for International Law to the sidelines. Has Israel put America in a bad light with its recent Airstrikes on Syria. Surely America and Russia are the major powers that should deal with world problems.

America needs to stay the hell out of other countries problems unless they are an ally like Japan, Israel among others. Our military should be FORBIDDEN from going to foreign countries on behalf of corporations. Its not our place to police the world.

Do you consider Israels Airstrikes a breach of International Law?. International Law takes in all Countries, no exceptions.

I have read this before now but it is one of those clips that should be read by every person who has ever believed their Government was doing the right thing by going to war. It seems we cannot get away from Bankers and Coporate Greed.

Some affected Pakistan people just brought up a lawsuit and won on their court, that drone attacks on their territory are illegal. They now try to bring this upfront the Unined Nations.

no, International law is really a myth. Israel and any other country has a right to defend itself, and, if thats the case, then England, France and US are guilty also... so if IL is not a myth, then who enforces it? People keep saying that it's not the US's job to police the world, they are not policing it, they are trying to control it.

IL is not a myth it has been infringed by countries like the us/uk/france/israel many times. I am interested in your views on how you think the us is trying to control the world as opposed to policing it. The UN through the security council is the vehicle to control breaches of international law.

they start out by finding out what other nations are needing, as far as supplies, help with internal structure, money, food, whatever. then, after the country gets comfortable with the aid they are receiving, they start hearing things like "start doing things this way", or "were not comfortable with ----" . thats when they start reducing/stopping the aid till the other country complies. If you want our money, then do as we say. thats why IL is a myth...

Is Assads murdering of his own people a violation of international law?

Is the transfer of weapons to a known and designated international terrorist group a violation of international law?

The US and Russia should tell the world to fix their own problems and if they did people like you would have nothing to complain about.

Are American Corporations not part of the problems in most of these countries. Are American Corporations not the Real Power in America?. If there ever was a myth it is That America is The Policeman of the world.

You are asking the wrong questions. Your government has just sanctioned $123 million to the Syrian opposition which includes the Nusra Front and Al Qaeda who according the your government are terrorists. What you have in Syria is a proxy poxy war. What do you mean by "People like me who complain"?

Looks like we may have a case to test International Law very soon. John Kerry has revived to Arab League Peace Initiative but already Netanyahu has sent delegates to pressure the US from ratifying it. Interesting times.

American Corporations are part of the problems in most of these countries. American Corporations are the Real Power in America. Corporate greed is bringing the US down.

As an American who served my country with distinction, I have no problem with stateing truth and well documented historical facts, WE HAVE NEVER been the police of the world, fact is we have been historys greatest international gangster. And like all gangsters, our destiny is defined by that fact. By the way, there has never been an Presidential administration who has been free of criminality. Take it, or let it alone. WE ARE THE GOOD GUYS IS REGULATED TO THE ANALS OF HISTORICAL MYTH.

The problem with this is that the United Nations is a big joke. First there is a huge conflict of interest in that the major powers of the world are among the SECURITY COUNCLE. Meaning if a poor country votes contrary to the US or the NATO alliance, they risk loseing various much needed incentives that afluant nations provide. These incentives, such as financial aide, bank loans, equiptment leasing, debt reductions and forgiveness, are often manipulative incentives in control of Security Councel resolutions. So in reality, the UNITED NATIONS are all held hostage bu the NATO and US members of the security councel.

I recognise the validity of his questions, but then, perhaps I don't share your confirmation bias.

Your government has just sanctioned $123 million to the Syrian opposition which includes the Nusra Front and Al Qaeda who according the your government are terrorists.

Incorrect, the funds are awarded to the FSA via the SNC who aren't affiliated with Al-Qaeda or the Nusra Front.

What you have in Syria is a proxy poxy war.

This is a myth put about by those who merely hate the US and don't know what they are talking about. I'd just ignore it.
