Well, of course I can't wear the same thing everyday, can't even wear the same thing twice if its not washed but I doubt u can compare a relationship to the use of your wardrobe seeing that as a decent woman u don't want a different man inside u ever day. (If u get where I'm coming from. Not even every month/ year in my case. |

Hi SS
Well you might get a lot of hate mail till people get what your saying and can identify with it. Maybe if you tie beauty with different types of professions or celeb status or $$$ it might be easier to talk about. The standards of beauty were set a long time ago and people who (however they get there) fall into this type (stereotype) do get treated differently and it can be a good thing and a bad thing. Most of the problem though comes from their own view of themselves. If they give off arrogance that's going to limit their ability to deal with a real life relationship. It shouldn't be but people are intimidated by what the public perceives as "in". This is why if you are a person who has that certain something should be even more earthy in your approach to others who may be looking at you as different for whatever reason. But we all should hold hands and watch "Shallow Hal" together, cause I think we all do this at some level. one other thing I do want to add No matter how hot we think we are on the outside, more than likely we were born ugly and will die ugly. If you have a period that you feel you are within the envelope of the most desired prepare yourself cause your going to have to deal with the fall of your own ego's head trip. |

They normally have more choice in who to date, so maybe, but remember, just because someone may be good-looking, it doesn't mean they're not a settling down type.

Just want to point out something about ego, like MG just did. When I was a little girl, I kept showing off to my friends, and constantly tried to be THE joker in the group, but some of the things I said made them shocked. Looking back, I was only a little girl, so it's not like I knew any better at the time. Now that I'm older, I don't try to get people to listen to me. I just talk to the one's who genuinely want to know me. It's just that sometimes you can't see what you say having an effect on others around you.
