I think my woman and I are in deep infatuation with each other right now, as we're all giggly like school children.

But, there is a deep strong undercurrent of heavy feelings for her, and I know me and what I am feeling in my heart.

Has any of ya'll had infatuation turn into a good strong love of someone? If you have, congratulations...because it is possible and a joyous occasion.

JMO. And I charge 2 bits, not a penny, for my thoughts...pitchfork

I don't know that I'm capable of full on giggle girl infatuation. I like my feet on the ground too much for that.

But I've learned that I'm capable of thinking of someone when I should be concentrating on my work. blushing

I know it's more than a hot body or handsome face though, because I've been around those every day for most of my life and am immune to hot men. It takes something much more than that for a man to invade my thoughts....or dreams. blushing smitten

With me infatuation has always been one sided so no it never turned into anything more serious.

I think it can go both ways.
I have met men I was never infatuated with but ended up loving them.
I have also met men I have been totally infatuated with and that's all it was.
I can't recall if I ever had both. But I do have to meet them in person before I can know for sure if its love or not.

That is a great question! I have a hard time with
love and lust actually. Infatuation..I would say
yes, my very first love. I thought I was so in love
with this guy that I would have done anything for
him. When we broke up I became a very sick young
lady and I could not handle losing him.
I had a lot of issues over him and now I look back
and think WTH was I thinking. I am so glad that I
told my parents what I was thinking and they got
me the help I needed.
YOUNG LOVE=STUPID LOVE!!!!

hmmm not a bad question. For me infatuation is like a balloon. It's fun and nice and cool to look and play with but it loses air over time.

It's always great fun to fall in love (infatuation) with each other. I did it twice with my X-husband. Once when we first met, then it changed and we broke up. Then we got back together... and it was there again. Then soon that was gone.

If you like the person on many levels, it can grow into a meaningful relationship. If not, it won't last. It will definitely change!! Count on that. Hope it changes to respect and love and not disrespect or hate.

Always respect each other no matter what.
