I agree Fox, most people do not want to be valued because of the color of their skin. so if that is the attraction then it may not be a substantial enough reason for most guys

from experience,, the same things that make any other guy take notice,, will make a white guy take notice

I cannot speak for men.

But when someone wants to date me because of my race (or the combination that is me) the first thing I do is back up and wonder "why?"; is it because of their kids, am I going to be a novelty, or is it to make a shot at or appease an ex/parents.

Cross cultural/race dating is not a completely novel experience to most adults, or at least their circle of friends, so you carry into that a general knowledge of some of the "problems" that still go with it no matter how liberal society says on the surface it is.

If you are wanting to date a guy it always come down to attracting him to the person YOU are overall. Different guys want different things. Figuring out what and who you are and matching that will influence your chances at success.

You can write generic profiles and throw it out there and maybe something will happen to stick or you can write a profile and put your pluses out there and someone who is looking for that will jump forward. The advantage is wasting huge efforts dating someone you do not even want.

Then if a guy is attracted to you and has the added bonus of being what you find a preference for including race you are home free.

I think sometimes people date interracially as a novelty,

sometimes though, they are finding difficulty attracting men they are attracted to as most people still do seek out others with in their race

so someone who is interested in dating that isn't EXCLUSIVELY intraracially may wonder how to make that happen

not sure what the ops situation is,, just putting out there reasons why the question may have been posted that may not be necessarily because she would be interested in the person 'because of their race'
